Exciting News:

SHOPPING CART IS NOW OPERATIONAL ON OUR WEB SITE: Visit www.theflickeringwick.com

Did you know you can order online with PayPal and pick up at any of the farmers markets listed to save on shipping..

Our 2 biggest sellers so far this season are still PUMPKIN SOUFFLE (the scent of Pumpkin bread) and FALL APPLES  (smells just like a Macintosh Apple). Coming in third is MISTLETOE (a festive pine scent just like Christmas itself). Then there is the ever popular CINNAMON STICK (scent of rich spicy cinnamon). Another really big seller for a all year long scent is Peppermint and Eucalyptus - Invigorating blend with peppermint, patchouli, cedar wood and eucalyptus, fragrance gives off a feeling of being in a spa.

New scents:

Pear – the smell of a juicy pear.

Pear and Coconut- we combined the 2 for a tropical scent.

Bayberry - perfect blend of fir and balsam with the just the right amount of nutmeg and spice.

More News: Did you know that we can fill custom orders for any event? You can order any size candle for any event in any color/scent combo and we can personalize the label.  Labels can be for any event to include your business, birthday name, cute poem for a baby shower. We are finishing up a special order for Holiday gifts with a customized label for a local company. Let us know if we can make your Holiday shopping easier for your personalized gifts.

We will be taking Holiday shopping orders through December 10th to guarantee shipping.

Not shown on our website, we have a variety of candle warmers for sale we don’t list them on the website because they are one of a kind and sell out too quickly. Contact us for a list of availability.

Also we have started making votive candles in some of our scents; we have also added smaller pillar candles to 6 inches. Plus we now started making our own tea lights made with soy…It’s unbelievable how long they last (one tea light last approximately 8 hours.)

 Tips:

Soy wax candles are made from hydrogenated soybean oil.  The first major advantage is that soy candles do not emit toxic chemicals into the area like paraffin wax.  Instead of having to inhale black smoke into your lungs, you get a natural scent.  They also usually burn at much lower temperatures mean that the same candle will last much longer.  This means that the same candle will last much longer and decrease the risk of getting burned.  Because the cost of these candles tends to be comparable to traditional candles, you can save money because they do last longer."  (taken from Pays to Live Green website)
